6A-Economic and regulatory trends

1.) Economy booming, Higher housing prices

• I saw on the news that with the economy doing so well, the housing market has shot up.
• The reason being is because people have more money to spend on houses so the homeowners selling are trying to get the best bang for their buck now before the market crashes again.
• The most likely will to buy in on this is young families who are looking for a bigger long term home. These folks will buy from those who are trying to downsize and it will benefit both parties. 
• This is pretty easy. The best feeling is to have money and be able to spend it on a home you love. The folks selling are essentially having the opportunity of downsizing as well as helping a young family start their new home off well.

2.) New on-line stores market through cookies

• The well known fact that your computer and smart phone listen to you. Well this has come to my attention lately when I had a conversation about engagement rings and looked on a couple websites at rings. Now every advertisement I see on my computer or my phone is all rings. Scary.
• I know this to be true because this isn't the first time. It is the future...now. So to keep it simple, we need to either watch what we say and search, or take advantage of the technology.
• Every person with a smart phone or computer will be the target customer for this marketing strategy. 
• This is easy because of how accessible the marketing is. Boom you see it and it will continue to show up.

3.) Legalization of marijuana
(slight sarcasm)

•  All over the internet the past few days are talking about Illinois and how they legalized weed. 
• The opportunity to smoke legally has been on the edge of being achievable for years now, and Illinois is now the newest member of the legal states.
• Those who live in Illinois or have fake ID's from Illinois are thanking their lucky stars right now to be the newest customers of legal weed. 
• This will be the easiest million made by the state and it will only grow. Fortunately for their economy this is a great thing.

4.)Nutrition

• Nutrition has been plastered all over elementary schools for years. When we grew up it was the food pyramid then moved to the plate. But non the less, this topic is always up to date.
• The things on your plate are very important. The opportunity to eat healthy is always an option for everybody. 
• This will not be an easy feat because the whole world it seems struggles to eat healthy and maintain a good diet.
