14 A- Halfway Reflection
1.) To be successful in this course you must maintain ahead of the game. Start your blogs early, even if you don't finish them in one sitting. It is easier to edit material at the end of the week (or whenever it is due) than to finish them all in one sitting. That is something I have developed through the semester. The course work isn't difficult, but needs to have you attention and you don't want to sound lazy in your blogs to your classmates.
2.) Well I tried to take this class in the spring semester and gave up on it early because I had a full plate and I felt like it was too much, so I've been there. But when this semester started I was getting adjusted to a full time internship and traveling a lot with that job and the first couple assignments I didn't have any focus on it and fell behind. So again, I was contemplating on giving up. But I just told myself this just needs so little of your time a day and just do it. Stop making excuses and do the work, so I did, and haven't missed on thing yet, except for a couple easy questions on the cupcakes.
3.) Three tips I would give you is to get ahead and stay ahead; It's a better route to have an A the first month of the course by just doing all the things and figuring the class out than to have an F and having to get everything done just to get a B. My next would be to have a good mindset when doing the work. It's not terribly hard to do, so don't be lazy and do a good job in your blogs. Also, respond after you really read your classmates blog instead of trying to get it over with quick and bs it. My last tip would to have fun with this learning material. The biggest thing this class offers is to help you think differently. It will only help you out in the future to have an imaginative thought process so take advantage of some practice in that aspect.
I agree with having to do your work early because it is so easy to procrastinate in this class. I also agree with class due dates as well, this can sneak up on you. I can find someone to be really busy with online classes too, that gives you extra time to do other things but it all adds up.
