During my interviews, I was able to get more attention for my product. The interview was based off of questions from both me and my interviewees. I got questions of ways that could better improve our environment, labor for spreading and how efficient it is comparatively. I asked them what are some of the important qualities they're looking for and where is it in their budget to purchase a more expensive fertilizer and a few more.
The answers they gave me to my questions where for the first one, they're all looking for something that will make their courses pop to their clients. They want it to be in the best condition for their budget and if that was going to be possible they would give me business. They all also stated that they don't want any contamination from the fertilizer if it was a new chemical they would want it to be tested on samples before committing. I reassured them that samples will be done and proven to find to their surprise the longevity and quality will be well worth paying the extra dollar and also help bring more players to their course with the great condition it is in so they will be able to have an even higher budget in the future years. They all liked the sound of that, and understood that the quality of the course really is a factor in how many round are played. I also gave them insight on how to place an order, They would simply call in to tell us what they need and when they need it by, that will go in, the bags will be made and they will be delivered to the course. This is the most efficient way of dealing with tons and tons of fertilizer.
Environmental friendly fertilizer is also one of the key components of my business. The fertilizer will be based off of temperature so the water runoff will not be an issue. The fertilizer will be bonded with the outer polyon 'shell' that needs water to activate but temperature is what brings it out. This decreases the chance of runoff unused fertilizer and a longer lasting one too. So with no runoff and the 'shell' being biodegradable, there is nothing else like this on the market.
Fertilizer contamination is a big deal, it has affected the Florida springs along with other bodies of water negatively by algae growth. With your customers finding out if they like your fertilizer is very key and by doing so free samples is a great idea. Even though these free samples will cost you, you need to get loyal customers somehow.
