9A- Testing the Hypothesis Part 2

I have conducted 5 interviews this week and I asked them to simply think as if they are the owner of a nursery business and you are calling the shots.

The Who: those who have no idea about what goes on in the agriculture business, those who have some knowledge and those who are invested in nursery business. By choosing three different (really 5) view points, I can attain a good grasp of what the majority will lean towards.

The What: The difference in options as a nursery farmer will bring forth many different fertilizer options. Not one fertilizer will fit all plants. These will be custom mixes with the higher quality mixes.

The Why: Why do we need those who have no interest in the nursery industry to give an opinion? So we can see what all mindsets think of. Not just getting liked minded people answering the same questions.

The questions asked to them included, what type of fertilizer would you purchase? The least expensive one, the middle ground, or higher quality fertilizer. Why? What are the risks of purchasing the least expensive fertilizer? More expensive fertilizer? And What kind of soil would you choose? Soil or Peat?

  1. Garrett,

I loved your post and the idea behind this. Your thoughts were very thorough, specifically on how you handled the testing of the hypothesis. Your separation on boundaries gave the readers a clear cut understanding of who the idea would work best on and what system to use.
