After talking with interviewers in the golf market and describing what I was offering, to m surprise they didn't have much to add to my concept. They agreed that the product was going to be valuable with the long lasting release and also they thought the idea of making money down the road would be beneficial. The super independents number ne concern was for me to not try and get 100% of the courses business because just like I am a business, they are too. They may enjoy the product and all the features it brings but they still have a budget each year. They will most likely average out the percent of business they give me at around 60%. If I can reach that for each golf course I tend to then I will be doing well along with them reaching their budget.

This is something I don't necessarily agree with but was surprised to their response. They still would give business to others to me seems like to simply keep them in business as well. They don't want a monopoly agency out there to take over the market completely and let the one out there dictate what will go down in the future. I get it as a business concept but was still surprised.

The new market I would go into that was expressed in my last blog was going further into the ag world and moving towards farms, sports fields and nurseries. The farm and nursery business could blow up because the average acreage that they have dwarfs that of a golf course. The new thing I could tap into would be the cannabis. This is a new concept in the farming and nursery business that very well can explode. Due to the talks of cannabis being legalized within the next few years nation wide, it would be silly not to go into that . That alone could be millions of dollars in itself and I could fertilize them. No budget and a lot of growers because of its popularity, that sounds like a great business move.

Farmers that I have made contact with agree that cannabis and overall the ag industry would benefit from my product, but that the ag industry already has so many options that they have used for years it could be hard to get into. Don't show up and act like you own the place, build relationships with growers and let them see for themselves the results instead of you looking like a hot head going in. That was great advise because it wouldn't be my first choice but would greatly benefit my company, so I would want to so it the right way.
